  • Manikavu Temple - Wayanad, Kerala

    This is the temple of Lord Shiva, near Choothupara, Meenangadi. The Manikavu temple Wayanad preserves a Shivling, which is thought to be self-manifested. Lord Shiva is generally worshipped in the form of Shiva linga. The Shivling, seen here is Swayambhoo and the speciality is that water is poured continuously over Shivling through a stream. The amount of water remains the same even in rainy season.

    Manikavu Temple Wayanad is a must visit for Hindu tourists who visit Kerala. Manikavu temple Wayanad is situated near Sulthan Bathery. The principle deity of the temple is lord Shiva.
